Texas Christian University Revs Up College Sports Marketing With Inflatable Mascot
Texas Christian University Increases Fan Attendance With Inflatable College Mascot
While Kermit™ may be the most famous amphibian in the land, Texas Christian University's college mascot — the Texas horned frog — probably runs a close second. If you've never seen one, you can just imagine what it looks like based strictly on the name.
This fierce critter with slanted eyes, sharp claws and — of course — horns, is a small terror in the real world.
Just imagine the striking impression it leaves when created with a 10-foot stature in all its inflatable wonder. If you were on the other team, you'd be shaking in your cleats for sure!
Assistant Director of Marketing Julie Austin explained, "We hoped to accomplish drawing in more students and fans into games. We use the inflatable frog at sporting events for brand awareness and photo ops for fans. It has become a trademark of volleyball and baseball games, as well as in Frog Alley during football pre-game."
Why choose Landmark Creations over all the other inflatable manufacturers? "Landmark Creations has a great reputation for similar projects, in addition to their quality product and affordable pricing."

What Others Say About Landmark Creations
The inflatable complements our messaging since Ivar’s is a quirky restaurant that’s known for its antics.
- J. Werth, Ivar's Restaurant
“The setup is so easy. We have had event tents and other promotional items in the past that were a nightmare to set up and break down. The inflatable is now the easiest part of the setup, and probably the most identifiable.”
- Vaughan Cutillo, Montauk Brewing Company
"[There was] fun, excitement, and encouragement for everyone to actually walk under/through [the arch] and it worked. We have cheerleaders and small children at the finish line by the arch handing out stickers, saying ‘I did it.’ Before we had the arch, [people] would straggle in anywhere."
- Jackie Allen, March of Dimes
"I chose Landmark Creations because they had a reasonable price for a customized inflatable. The other inflatables featured on their site made me confident that they could produce exactly what I was looking for."
- Sara Chadeck, KONO 101.1 FM
"We are able to directly track customer traffic caused by the boot, so we know the inflatable boot paid for itself within the first year."
- Jerry Kavsh, Renton Western Wear
"It was a big success! Customers were stopping to take their pictures with the inflatable pheasant and it helped draw in interstate traffic."
- M. Kettler, Cabela's
