Plugging In Your Inflatable

generators and outlets - electricity sources for custom inflatablesA Landmark Guide for Plugging In Your Inflatable

Because cold-air inflatables have fan systems to keep them inflated, they require electricity to operate. This guide will walk you through what you’ll need to plan for power at your events.

Where do I get power?

You can use wall outlets or generators to power up your inflatable displays.

Wall Outlets

Do you have easy access to electricity at your events? Most of our inflatables can be plugged in to a standard wall outlet, or a standard outlet box provided at trade shows or outdoor events.

Generators

For outdoor events without access to outlets, like parades and festivals, you may need to use a generator. For most of our inflatables, you will be able to find an appropriate generator from a hardware store or rental company.

“The setup is so easy. We have had event tents and other promotional items in the past that were a nightmare to set up and break down. The inflatable is now the easiest part of the setup, and probably the most identifiable.”

"Our giant peach is brand new to us and will help us gain name recognition in our community at health fairs, county fairs, farm markets, school events and almost any event we take it to."

- Greg Stone, Peach Tree Healthcare

"[There was] fun, excitement, and encouragement for everyone to actually walk under/through [the arch] and it worked.  We have cheerleaders and small children at the finish line by the arch handing out stickers, saying ‘I did it.’ Before we had the arch, [people] would straggle in anywhere."

- Jackie Allen, March of Dimes

"It was a big success! Customers were stopping to take their pictures with the inflatable pheasant and it helped draw in interstate traffic."

- M. Kettler, Cabela's
