Inflatable Characters Welcome Guests to the Minnesota Historical Society
Inflatable Paul Bunyan & Babe Characters Greet Guests
What better welcoming committee to the Minnesota Historical Society than Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox? These legends live on as bigger-than-life, cold-air inflatable characters that stand 18-feet tall.
The Society was looking for greater visibility and promotion for the History Center's Then Now Wow exhibit. According to Laura Geffre-Rick, Community Outreach & Sponsorship Manager, "People love the inflatable! It's been a great photo op for History Center guests."
In addition to doing meet-and-greets in front of the Society, the cold air inflatable characters also make appearances to fairs and festivals, grand openings, parades and other events.
While both Landmark Creations and the Historical Society are both in Minnesota, the Society could have chosen to work with any number of companies across the country. They selected Landmark Creations because they wanted to go local, and they liked the high-quality inflatables they saw in our online portfolio. Have a look for yourself. You just might see something that sparks a brilliant idea.

What Others Say About Landmark Creations
"We usually have to keep the arch up for at least 30 minutes after our races since so many people want to get their photos taken with it!"
- Art Boulet, Muddy Monk
"Our tunnel was also a great addition to our pre-game tradition: the Wildcat walk. Our city shuts down three blocks of downtown, and we have hundreds of fans lining the streets with a police escort, while we walk to the stadium."
- Sam Baker, Head Football Coach at Waconia High School
“Not only have they been extremely impactful, attracting hundreds of potential consumers to our sampling teams, but the ease in which we can install them has been a great help...”
- B. Gerety, Veryfine Products, Inc.
“The setup is so easy. We have had event tents and other promotional items in the past that were a nightmare to set up and break down. The inflatable is now the easiest part of the setup, and probably the most identifiable.”
- Vaughan Cutillo, Montauk Brewing Company
"This year’s event was the highest attended in some time, and the [inflatable] astronaut, front and center on our Portico, was a great visible draw from all over the area."
- Dennis Bateman, Carnegie Science Center
"Simply put, the bobbleheads were a real hit at TwinsFest. Over 21,000 fans attended the two-day event raising more than $100,000 for the Twins Community Fund charities."
- Heidi Sammon, Minnesota Twins
