Chattanooga Mocs' Inflatable Train Tunnel Unveiled at Football Game

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. -- There’s another train in the Choo Choo city. The Chattanooga Mocs football team unveiled its new inflatable tunnel at the game Sept. 29 against Southern Conference opponent Wofford.

The tunnel, made by Landmark Creations of Burnsville, Minn., reflects the team logo and the heritage of the city in the form of a train engine. The team will run through the tunnel amidst a cloud of smoke to take the field at Finley Stadium in the home-opener. "Our players are excited about the addition of the tunnel,” UTC head coach Donnie Kirkpatrick said. “We think it will add to the pageantry of the game and the fun pregame atmosphere at Finley Stadium."

The Mocs basketball teams will also make use of the train tunnel in pregame activities at McKenzie Arena. Funding was made possible with the aid of the Chattanooga Mocs Football Club.
