When the folks at Apria (the RJR/Nabisco company) were holding their annual shareholders’ meeting, they found a new monument on their lawn. A 13-foot cigarette pack designed to mock the Marlboro brand in protest.
Gene chose an inflatable for this cause because it provides a strong visual to explain immediately to the media what is going on.
Did it work? You bet! They made the news and also got media attention from print publications.
